What is social science?
a] It is a subject. b] It helps us to understand the working of our social world.
c]It tells us about geography the way the economy works,
and the manner in which social and political life is organised.
How does history helps us?
1] It helps us to understand how the present evolved.
2]It also tells us about the past present.
Is history an adventure?Yes.
a]It is a journey across Time and Space.
b] It takes us into another world another age in which people lived differently.
c] It tells us into about their economy society,
their beliefs and faiths, their clothes, their food,
their settlements and buildings their arts crofts.
Why must we study History?
Then only we can understand how the modern world in which we live
Now has evolved [or] emerged over long centuries of development
The society we live in has been fashioned by those who came and lived before us.
They have solved many problems and left solutions to us.
And they were discovers and inventors.
All these transformed the society gradually slowly unnoticed.

Be grateful you have one nose
with two nostrils to respire,
to smell,to breathe the required
Oxygen and expire the co2.
Be grateful you have excellent
Ears having the good listening,
And hearing faculty.
Be gratreful you have One tongue
To taste delicious meals and
To take those eatables which
are providing energy and blood,
Be grateful that you are accustomed
To speak only positive words.

My Goddess Durga has 18 hands,
I wanted from Her a good house,
A good wife,Three good children,
Fine five grandchildren,
And enough money to buy all
things I wanted.
I wanted to travel in comfort
To have good digestive power,
To digest and get energy,
To have good eyesight,
To have good hearing,
To have good movement
Of my legs and hands,
To speak good of everyone
and everything,
These all She gave me,
She gave everything
I wanted.
What can I give her
